Bengaluru: The Election Commission on Friday said a case was registered against BJP candidate K Sudhakar on charges of bribery and undue influence on voters and cash worth Rs 4.8 crore was also seized.



He said that the Flying Squad Team (FST) of Chikkaballapura took action.

Taking to 'X', Karnataka Chief Electoral Officer on Friday said FST O Chikkaballapura seized cash worth Rs 4.8 crore.

An FIR has also been registered by the state surveillance team of Chikkaballapura constituency against BJP candidate K Sudhakar at Madanayakanahalli police station on April 25.

He posted that an FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the Representation of the People Act and IPC for bribery and undue influence on voters.
