New Delhi: Amid protests over the acute water crisis in the national capital, Delhi Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj on Sunday accused BJP leaders and workers of vandalizing an office of the Delhi Jal Board.

Terming it a "conspiracy" against the government, Bhardwaj shared a video in which some people are breaking windows of an office by throwing stones and earthen pots at it.

"See BJP leaders wearing party sashes and its workers vandalizing government property at the Delhi Jal Board office and raising slogans of BJP Zindabad. Who is breaking pipelines at various places? Whose conspiracy is this?" he said in a post in Hindi on X.

Earlier in the day, BJP leaders protested against the AAP government in various areas of Delhi over the water crisis.

The AAP government has been accusing BJP-ruled Haryana of not providing Delhi's share of water.

Congress has also protested against the acute water shortage in the national capital.
