New Delhi [India], After the Enforcement Directorate moved the Delhi High Court against the trial court's order granting bail to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the excise policy case Delhi, AAP leader Sanjay Singh lashed out at the BJP-led government, saying the lower court has said in its order that the ED is working with a "biased attitude".

Singh attached a portion of the court order to his post on X and said the BJP should remain silent and apologize to Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party.

"After reading this order, Modi and BJP should remain completely silent and apologize to @ArvindKejriwal and @AamAadmiParty. The court has raised questions about ED's role in its order. 'The court has written in the order that ED is working with biased attitude in this case," Singh wrote in X.

Earlier in the day, the AAP leader lashed out at the BJP-led central government and said that he is "making a mockery of the system".

"Look at the hooliganism of the Modi Government, the trial court order has not come yet, even the copy of the order is not available, so what order has Modi's ED gone to challenge in the High Court?" What is happening in this country? Why? Are you making fun of the justice system Modiji? The whole country is looking at you," he said in X.

Earlier, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh came down heavily on the central government for "gross misuse" of central agencies.

"In the last 10 years, Narendra Modi has grossly abused central investigation agencies like CBI and ED. These agencies must function impartially," he said.

The Enforcement Directorate has moved the Delhi High Court to quash the order passed by the special judge (vacation judge) of Rouse Avenue district courts granting bail to Kejriwal.

Arvind Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 this year.

On May 10, the Supreme Court granted him provisional bail till June 1 to allow him to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections. Kejriwal surrendered on June 2 after he completed his interim bail.
