Bengaluru, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to Mysuru and Mangaluru on Sunday for the Lok Sabha election campaign.

He is expected to address a mega rally in Mysuru, where he will share the stage with JD(S) patriarch HD Deve Gowda, and later hold a road show in the coastal city of Mangaluru.

Last month, Modi held mega rallies in Kalaburagi and Shivamogga.

Today at 4 pm, Modi will address a massive public meeting at the Maharaja's College grounds in Mysuru to garner support for the BJ and JD(S) candidates from Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Mandya and Hassan Lok Sabha constituencies.

Leaders of both BJP and JD(S) alliance will be present in the mega meeting.

According to sources, JD(S) state president and former CM HD Kumaraswamy, who is also a candidate from Mandya, veteran BJP leader BS Yediyurappa, saffron party state president BY Vijayendra are among the leaders of both parties whose rally There is a possibility of joining.

JD(S) had joined the NDA in September last year.

As part of the seat-sharing deal, the BJP is contesting in 2 constituencies in the state and the JD(S) in the remaining three – Mandya, Hassan and Cola.

Later, at 6 pm, Modi will hold a road show for about 1.5 km from Narayana Guru Circle to Nav Bharat Circle in Mangaluru.

Voting is being held in two phases in Karnataka. While 14 Lok Sabha constituencies in the southern part of the state are going to polls on April 26, the second phase of voting for the northern districts will be held on May 7.
