We strongly reject these empty assurances and demand the immediate release of the loved ones of the protesters. The BYC statement said that two protests have been organized in KEC and Turbat against the measures implemented in the area. According to the statement, Naeem Rahmat, a student enrolled in BA at Turbat University, was in his second semester.When he was forcibly disappeared on March 17, 2022. It's been more than two years, and his whereabouts are unknown, disrupting his education and causing deep distress to his family. The victim's family has since organized several demonstrations and Rahmat has not been released. On 10 April 2024, the day of Eid, his family staged a protest on the main road of CPEC in Shapuk, Kech. The protest ended when the Deputy Commissioner of Ketch assured them of Naeem's safe release within five days.However, Naeem's whereabouts are unknown, forcing his family to once again stage a sit-in at CPEC Route I Shapuk. Meanwhile, the protest continues in Turbat under the leadership of Uzai Baloch and Nawaz Baloch's family. Haji Shambe's son Uzair works as a lecturer at Buleda Degree College and lives in Jusak, Turbat. He was forcibly disappeared by the authorities from his hometown on April 18, 2024. Similarly, Nawaz Baloch, a resident of Buleda Bit, also went missing during a raid by security forces on the same night.The Baloch nation should not remain silent when their loved ones are forcibly disappeared; Instead, they should oppose it.
