Those arrested have been identified as Harpreet Singh and Rahul Masih.
DGP Yadav said preliminary investigation revealed that the racket was functioning in a well-organized manner and had purchased four big consignments of weapons from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh in the last six months.
The members of the module were in contact with a US-based criminal organization and purchased consignments of weapons on its instructions. He said police teams have identified two more members of the module, who used to provide arms to the gangsters.
The DGP said teams are conducting raids to nab them and further investigation is underway to establish forward and backward links.
