Patna, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday questioned the absence of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar from BJP's election rallies in the state.

The former Deputy Chief Minister made this comment while referring to the absence of JDU president Kumar from the rallies addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Gaya and Purnia during the day.

"Where is Nitish Kumar ji? Why is BJP not inviting him to its rallies? He was not seen in any of PM's rallies on Tuesday. I still have respect for the CM... BJP, which is his current ally There is a need to come clean on the matter, Yadav, whose RJD lost power in January following Kumar's return to the NDA, told reporters here in the evening.

On the Prime Minister's allegation that opposition leaders including RJD and Congress are spreading lies about the Constitution, Yadav said, "Almost all BJP candidates are saying that when Modi comes to power for the third time, the saffron party will change the Constitution." He said, "Why is he (the Prime Minister) not talking about inflation, providing employment to the youth, reducing poverty, bringing black money back to India? He only talks about Hindu-Muslim.
