The world has witnessed the Israel-Hamas conflict, the Russia-Ukraine war and more recently the Iran-Israel tension, raising concerns in many quarters over its impact on global peace and stability.
Speaking at a rally in Madhya Pradesh's Damoh parliamentary constituency, PM Modi said that a strong government can take the country towards development and the development in the last 10 years is an indicator of this.
Voting will be held in the second phase on Damoh Lok Sabha seat of Bundelkhand region on April 26.
PM Modi said, "During the Covid pandemic, lakhs of Indian citizens were stranded in different parts of the world and all of them were brought safely to their homes."
"Wherever Indian citizens faced problems, be it during the Covid pandemic, or in war-torn countries, I have ensured that every citizen of the country returned home safely. This was possible because you (people) India needs a strong government in such a scenario: PM Modi.
Taking aim at Congress, PM Modi said that the party has been in power for the last several decades but its primary priority is to increase the bank balance.
