Berhampur (Odisha), All nine visually impaired students of a school for the blind in Ganjan district of Odisha passed the annual High School Certificate or Class 10 examination.

Principal of Red Cross School for the Blind, Ambapua, Priya Ranjan Mahakuda said that nine visually impaired students, including five girls, passed the 20th examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha.

He said that one student secured B2 grade by scoring 360 marks out of 600, seven students secured C grade and one student secured D grade.

The results of the annual Class 10 (Matriculation) examination were declared by BSE on Sunday.

In the classroom, students are taught through Braille textbooks. However, they appeared for the exam through Helper-Writer.

Bharti Bisoyee, a visually impaired student of the school, who scored B grade in the exam, and other students who passed the exam want to pursue higher education.
