Jaipur: On Sunday, a woman in Barmer district allegedly killed her four children by throwing them in a water tank and attempted suicide by jumping behind them. Police gave this information.
Police said that according to preliminary investigation, the woman was upset over a family dispute. The incident took place in Dhane ka Tala village in Sadar area of the district.
Barmer Superintendent of Police Narendra Singh Meena said, "Four children died after a woman threw them into a water tank. The woman was rescued and is undergoing treatment. We spoke to her to know the reason behind the move." "Interrogation will be done."
These children were in the age group of five to 11 years.
The woman's husband works as a labourer.
