Ahmedabad, April 25 () The Gujarat government on Thursday transferred or gave new postings to 10 Indian Police Service (IPS) and two State Police Service (SPS) officers through a notification.

According to a state home department order, 2004 batch Gujarat cadre IPS Gagandeep Gambhir, who was awaiting posting after repatriation from CBI, was appointed as Inspector General of Police (IGP), Administration, Gandhinagar.

Senior IPS officer Raghavendra Vats, who was awaiting appointment, has been posted as Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), Surat city, while 2006 batch IPS officer Sharad Singhal has been posted as Ahmedabad Crime Branch, replacing Neeraj Kumar Badgujar. Has been appointed as JCP. Additional CP of Ahmedabad Sector-1 has been created.

IPS officer Chaitanya Mandlik, awaiting posting, has been made the Superintendent of Police, State CID-Crime, Gandhinagar, as per the order.

Ajit Rajian, currently serving as DCP, Cyber ​​Crime, Ahmedabad City, has been posted as DCP, Ahmedabad Crime Branch. Rajian was replaced by 2017-batch IP officer Lavina Sinha.
