"In a search operation, BSF recovered 10 packets of suspected drugs from an isolated island near Jakhau coast in Bhuj," BSF said in a statement.

It said that in the last eight days, BSF has recovered a total of 139 packets of suspected drugs from Jakhau coast.

"The isolated islands off the coast and creek area are being intensively searched by the BSF," the BSF further said.

Earlier today, the Border Security Force (BSF) has recovered a Chinese-made drone along with a pistol in Punjab's Firozpur district.

The recovered drone has been identified as a China-made DJI Mavic-3 Classic.

"On June 22, 2024, BSF Intelligence Wing shared information about the presence of a drone with a suspicious packet in the border area of ​​District Firozpur. In quick response, BSF troops reached the spot and conducted an extensive search operation. An official press release said.

The packet was wrapped in yellow adhesive tape and contained a small plastic flashlight with a metal ring attached to it. Upon inspection of the packet, a pistol (without barrel) and an empty pistol magazine were found inside.

Meanwhile, a Pakistani drone along with heroin was recovered in a joint operation by BSF and Punjab Police on Saturday.
