Abu Dhabi [UAE], The Emirati Field Hospital in the Gaza Strip continues to provide its medical services without interruption to the residents of Gaza amid the dire conditions being experienced by the Palestinian people, especially in the city of Rafah.
Dr. Saif Al Mehrazi, orthopedic surgery consultant at the UAE hospital in Rafah, said the field hospital, which is part of Operation Chivalrous Night 3, continues to receive the wounded, especially children, women and people with chronic diseases.
He said the medical team has performed several operations on a patient suffering from war-related fractures, including removal of metal implants and endoscopy on the swollen wound, which helped save his limbs from amputation. Dr Al Mehrazi said the patient was suffering from complications after surgery last October.
He confirmed that surgeries are being performed daily to ease the suffering of the Palestinian people.
