In the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections, voting will be held in a single phase in all the 10 parliamentary constituencies of Haryana including Gurgaon seat on May 25.

A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader said that HM Shah will hold a road show on May 1 to garner support for the party's candidate.

A senior party official said on Monday that thousands of people are expected to attend the public meeting to be held at HUDA Ground in Gurugram's Sector 5.

BJP's Gurugram district unit president Kamal Yada said, "The party is heading towards a historic victory and above all, Home Minister Amit Shah is coming to the city to guide us. Security and management arrangements for this huge rally have been made. Has been done."

Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh is hoping for a third win on the Gurgaon seat after victories in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

During this, Kamal Yadav asked the party workers to go door-to-door and invite people for the rally.

"The workers will go door-to-door and tell people about the achievements of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government and urge them to come to H Amit Shah's rally on May 16," he said.
