Thane, Maharashtra: A pathological laboratory was gutted in a massive fire that broke out in a seven-storey building in Thane city of Maharashtra on Saturday morning. Municipal Corporation officials gave this information.

Thane Municipal Corporation Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) chief Yasin Tadvi said the fire broke out around 7 am on the third floor of the building located on Gokhale Road.

"After receiving the warning, the fire brigade and RDMC personnel reached the spot with three fire engines and brought the fire under control after a struggle of two and a half hours. The laboratory office along with its equipment was gutted in the fire." " He said.
