Thane: A hotel employee died of electric shock in Ambernath in Thane district. A police officer gave this information on Thursday.
Ambernath police station official said the incident took place on Wednesday and the deceased has been identified as Vishal Bati (21), who was originally from Nepal.
"He was cleaning the hotel and when he tried to remove the pin of the inverter, he got electrocuted. The body has been sent for post-mortem," he said.
