Etawah (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Aditi Yadav, a student and daughter of Samajwad Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, is campaigning for party candidates for the Lok Sabha elections here. On Friday, Aditi reached Saifai in Etawah district of the state along with party workers. And conducted a door-to-door campaign. Voting for Etawah Lok Sabha seat is to be held in the fourth phase on May 13 and SP has given ticket to Jitendra Dohra from this seat. Voters showed enthusiasm after seeing Aditi and welcomed her by garlanding her. Aditi has done her schooling from Lucknow and is currently She is pursuing her graduation in Politics and International Studies. She hails from University College London (UCL), England and had come to her parents' house during her holidays. Earlier too, Aditi was seen with her mother and MP Dimple Yadav and campaigned for her, who is contesting from Mainpuri Lok Sabha constituency. Addressing the public as the party's stronghold, Aditi said, "Let the Samajwadi Party win with a huge majority by pressing the cycle button on May 7." Samajwadi Party's Dimple Yadav won the Mainpuri parliamentary seat in the December 2022 elections. He defeated BJP's Raghuraj Singh Shakya by a margin of 2,88,461 votes. The seat, considered a SP stronghold, was held by party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav and fell vacant after his death on October 10. Polling date for the Mainpuri Lok Sabha constituency is 7 May (Phase 3).
