New Delhi, amid reports that Russian missiles hit a "children's hospital" in kyiv, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Monday accused Russia of engaging in "intentional attacks" on medical facilities and civilian infrastructure.

In a post on X, Kuleba also shared some images showing a damaged building, injured medical staff and many patients being treated in an open area.

"Okhmatdyt, one of the largest children's hospitals in Ukraine, suffered significant damage in kyiv as a result of another massive Russian missile attack on Ukraine. There are reports of injured children. Emergency services and ordinary residents of kyiv are clearing the rubble "said the Minister of Foreign Affairs. "Ukrainian affairs," he wrote on the social media platform.

"During the day, another hospital was attacked in kyiv, proving that Russia intentionally attacks medical facilities and civilian infrastructure. This is the true face of Russia. This is Putin's true response to all peace missions and proposals," Kuleba alleged.

He accused Russia of "attacking civilians" in broad daylight in kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Slavyansk and Kramatorsk.

Meanwhile, the Office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in a statement issued on Monday, said: "As a result of today's Russian attack on Ukraine, more than a hundred people were injured. Currently, 31 deaths have been reported."

Andriy Yermak of the Office of the President of Ukraine also spoke about this in a debate held via the Zoom platform on Monday afternoon.

"Terrible photos and videos" have emerged after the hospital attack, he said.

The attack on the children's hospital "was not a mistake" since "there was no military installation" nearby, Yermak said.

"We fight for freedom, we fight for independence," Yermak said, calling for answers from "responsible countries."

"As President @ZelenskyyUa just stated in his press conference with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Ukraine also addressed the member states of the UN Security Council with a request to hold an emergency meeting of the Security Council about Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure," he wrote.

Kuleba also urged all countries and international organizations to "strongly condemn today's attack, take immediate measures to strengthen Ukraine's air defense capabilities and reject any appeasement" of the act.
