Speaking in the Rajya Sabha during the motion of thanks on the President's address, the PM said, "Public transport in the country will see rapid change and the footprint of technology will be visible in many areas."

The Prime Minister said that when India becomes the third largest economy, it will have a positive impact not only domestically but also globally.

PM Modi said, "Our economy has come from 10th to fifth place in the world and now we have got the mandate to make India the third largest economy."

The Prime Minister said, "The opportunity that the people of the country have given us for the third time is to strengthen our resolve to realize the goal of 'Developed India' and Self-reliant India."

He said the return of his government for a third term would strengthen the journey towards achieving this objective.

Listing the government's achievements, the Prime Minister said that only 3 crore farmers had benefited from the UPA's loan waiver, but more than 10 crore farmers have benefited from the NDA's PM-Kisan scheme.

He said that the government has strengthened the agriculture sector by making micro planning from farm to market.

He said that the people of the country have supported the work done by the BJP-led NDA government in the last 10 years.
