New Delhi [India], The Delhi High Court on Tuesday ordered removal of ex posts/tweets alleging that senior lawyer and BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia was "beaten up" by lawyers in a Noida court, Justice Neena Bansal Krishna's bench, while passing orders on an interim petition seeking direction to the defendants to restrain them from publishing any defamatory allegations, ordered that YouTube be barred from accusing plaintiff Gaurav Bhatia of beating up Many of the videos should be made private pending the litigation. While filing the defamation case against him, the bench directed that the X posts/tweets which have not been removed, be removed by the respondent operators of X posts within seven days as per the arbitrator guidelines. It is further directed that the videos which are in the public domain, be made private by Google LLC and not be put in the public domain, without the order of this Court. It is pertinent to note here before the District Judge that when the plaintiff was informed by the office bearers of the Gautam Budh Nagar Bar Association that they had called for a strike on that day, the plaintiff immediately agreed to adjourn the case and thereafter Duly adjourned. The fact of the matter is that the plaintiff had made it clear that she was ready to take the date, but yet, on the same day of March 20, she was misbehaved by a local lawyer, whose identity is yet to be established. The Supreme Court Bar Association, of which the plaintiff is a member, wrote a letter to the Chief Justice of India demanding an impartial investigation into the incident. The Supreme Court Bar Association also issued a letter to the President of the District Civil and Criminal Bar.The Association, Gautam Budh Nagar, Noida has requested the Executive Committee to identify the said lawyer, serve him a notice and take strict action against the concerned lawyer.
