According to DCP Central Noida, the deceased has been identified as Yoges Kumar, resident of Aligarh. He worked at a local workshop in Chipiyana area, Kumar was brought to the post for questioning on Wednesday night after a colleague made allegations against him.

Around 10 am on Thursday morning, he allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself inside the police barrack. Although the exact reason for the suicide is not yet known, Kumar's family has made serious allegations against the policemen.

Speaking to media persons, the family claimed that Rs 5 lakh was demanded for Kumar's release. "I gave them Rs 50,000 and also Rs 1,000 to buy liquor. Was at the checkpoint at night. I told them I would give the remaining Rs 4.5 lakh by morning. The policemen told me that they would release my brother after taking him. Will give.” Money," Kumar's brother said.
