Bengaluru: The state level single window clearance committee (SLSWCC) headed by Karnataka minister MB Patil on Friday approved 64 projects worth Rs 3,587.67 crore, according to an official statement.

These projects are expected to generate employment for about 13,896 people across the state, a release issued by the minister's office said.

Notable approvals given by the committee include proposals from International Battery Company India Pvt Ltd and River Mobility Pvt Ltd, which plan to invest Rs 390 crore and Rs 306.9 crore respectively.

Patil, Minister for Large, Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, said the SLSWCC has approved 13 major large and medium projects with capital investment of more than Rs 50 crore, with a total cost of Rs 2,046.39 crore and is expected to generate about 7,199 jobs. hopefully.

Additionally, 47 new projects with investment ranging from Rs 15 crore to Rs 50 crore were approved, with a total cost of Rs 1,058.55 crore, which will generate about 6,547 jobs.
