Mumbai, Kotak Mahindra Bank customers on Monday reported difficulties in accessing services due to problems in the private sector lender's systems.

Customers of the lender faced difficulties in completing transactions like making UPI payments, withdrawing money and accessing online banking in the morning and took to social media to raise their issues.

Responding on social media at 2045 hrs, the lender said its customers are experiencing "an intermittent issue" and said its team is "actively working" to resolve the issue swiftly. Still working.

In a statement to the media, the lender said, “We regret to inform that your technical servers are currently experiencing intermittent slow down”.

There was no clarity about the time taken for the system to function normally.

It may be noted that the Reserve Bank has been pressuring lenders to work very hard on such aspects and has also taken exemplary action in the past against some lenders due to outages.
