BENGALURU: Expressing concern over the alleged demolition of houses of Kannadigas in neighboring Goa, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday appealed to his counterpart in the state to stop till the people living there are provided with alternatives. Till then stop further demolition immediately.



He also asked Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to ensure that all displaced persons get adequate rehabilitation.



“I am deeply concerned by the demolition of houses of Kannadigas in Sangolda, Goa. I appeal to the Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Dr. Pramod Sawant, to immediately stop further demolitions until an alternative is provided and this It should be ensured that all displaced persons get adequate rehabilitation." Siddaramaiah posted on 'X'.



"It is important that we maintain the dignity and stability of each affected family," he said.



The Chief Minister has shared media reports and pictures of the alleged vandalism in his post.
