New Delhi [India]: A gas pipeline caught fire outside a house in Paryavaran Complex in south Delhi's Saket, police said on Friday. The fire broke out around 1:40 pm on Friday night. Police said that after receiving the information, policemen reached the spot and found wood in the IGL gas pipeline outside the house. Two fire tenders were deployed at the spot and the fire was brought under control. A team from IGL also visited the spot and managed the pipelines. According to the police, "The cause of the fire appears to be a technical problem in the gas pipeline. The situation was brought under control within 20 minutes." "A video of the fire, confirmed by Delhi Police, was widely shared on social media," Delhi Police said.
