Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], As a measure to boost industrial growth and support entrepreneurs investing in the industrial sector of Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday launched the Single Window Portal 2.0.
During the launch of the portal, developed by the Department of Commerce and Industries, the CM said that the state government will provide all possible support to entrepreneurs investing and setting up industries in Chhattisgarh.
"Our top priority is good governance and a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption. In this regard, the Single Window Portal 2.0 has been launched to expedite various clearances and approvals, ensuring convenience to investors and new industrialists. This important initiative aims to streamline processes by reducing administrative interference. This portal will be seamless and easy to use for business owners," said Sai.
CM Sai further said that the state has abundant resources and ample opportunities for industrial development. With this new system of the Department of Industries all the necessary facilities will be available with a single click. Simplifying the process of setting up industries will enhance investor interest and create employment opportunities for the youth of the state. Entrepreneurs will no longer need to navigate multiple departments to submit applications and authorizations.”
The Chief Minister further stated that departmental officials have been assigned responsibilities within the new portal and will be responsible for timely processing of applications.
He also ordered officials to conduct periodic reviews.
For his part, the CM stated that industrial growth not only promotes the development of the state but also generates employment opportunities for the youth. He also highlighted that a transparent and simplified industrial setup process will attract more entrepreneurs, accelerating economic growth. Following the directives of the Chief Minister, the Department of Commerce and Industry has revamped the old portal and launched the Single Window System 2.0 to facilitate establishment of the industry.
This platform will ensure timely resolution of applications, allowing applicants to track their status with a single click, Industry Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan said.
