Beed: One person died and another lost both his legs when his motorcycle met with an accident while taking a selfie on the Beed bypass road, a police officer said on Saturday.
The incident happened on Friday afternoon and a video showing the rider and the pillion smiling for a selfie before the motorcycle hit the metal crash barrier on the road went viral on social media.
"Anirudh Kalkumbe (25), who was sitting in the rear seat, died while passenger Madhu Shelke had both her legs amputated. They were going from Beed to Tuljapur when the incident occurred," he said.
