New Delhi [India], Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) councilors on Thursday raised slogans against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) House in protest against the ongoing water crisis in the capital.

Delhi Mayor Shaili Oberoi accused BJP councilors of disrupting the House proceedings and said, "Every time, BJP councilors disrupt the House on issues related to the Municipal Corporation. Today we have to discuss monsoon preparations and cleaning of drains." But it was not possible."

BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri led the protest along with party workers over the water crisis. Meanwhile, residents of Okhla Phase 2 and Kusumpur Pahari received water supply through tankers, providing some relief amid water shortage. However, residents reported that tap water remains dirty and supply is inconsistent.
