BJP's Maharashtra unit chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule said during a media briefing here that the MVA-India alliance misled the people during the Lok Sabha election campaign through a false narrative (of changing the Constitution after BJP came to power for the third time). And got the votes of Dalits and tribals.

Mahayuti won 17 seats against MVA's 31 seats in the state.

Apart from this, BJP will appoint observers to all 48 Lok Sabha seats to find out the lapses and suggest corrective steps ahead of the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections in view of the decline of 9 seats in its tally.

"It was decided to go door-to-door to remove the misconceptions prevalent in the minds of voters by exposing the false propaganda of the MVA-India alliance to the people. The party will also highlight the extensive development work done by the Prime Minister." Forty-eight leaders will visit 48 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state and clear misconceptions as part of the Narendra Modi-led government's plan to meet the goals of the Narendra Modi-led government and India's development in the last 10 years,'' Bawankule said.He said, "The grand alliance of BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP will work with renewed vigor in the upcoming assembly elections and win with an overwhelming majority."

Bawankule said that in the meeting, state party officials and elected representatives discussed the Lok Sabha results and the strategy for the upcoming assembly elections.

He further said that the MVA-India alliance has also misled women by making false promises of depositing Rs 8,500 in their accounts every month. “Now women are standing in queues in front of opposition MPs and leaders demanding Rs 8,500,” he said.

Bawankule reiterated that every worker, office-bearer, leader and minister will in future try to re-instill confidence in the minds of the people that the Mahayuti and the BJP-NDA government are committed to fulfill every promise made in the manifesto.
