Kolkata: TMC candidate Sheikh Nurul Islam is leading from West Bengal's Basirhat Lok Sabha constituency, where Sandeshkali is located, on Tuesday, according to the Election Commission.

It said that BJP candidate Rekha Patra was trailing by a margin of 8,480 votes.
