Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) [India], Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reached Visakhapatnam on Friday to review the preparedness of the Eastern Fleet of the Indian Navy.
He received Guard of Honor at INS Dega in Visakhapatnam.

Earlier on Thursday, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh held a meeting with various top officials and dignitaries of the security forces to discuss the '100-day action plan' of the Defense Ministry with a special focus on the welfare of ex-servicemen. He directed the officers to rededicate themselves to achieve the desired results as per the action plan.
The meeting was attended by CDS (Chief of Defense Staff) General Anil Chauhan, COAS (Chief of Army Staff) General Manoj Pandey, CAS (Chief of Air Force) Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, CNS (Chief of Naval Staff). Admiral Dinesh Tripathi and other officials of the department after taking charge as Defense Minister.
Meanwhile, he also met National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Thursday.
