The meeting marked Prime Minister Modi's first address to ruling bloc parliamentarians in his third term.

The Union Minister said that the Prime Minister has asked parliamentarians to develop expertise on some of the major issues of concern and represent them in the House.

"He said that each parliamentarian must present the issues of their constituents very well in the House according to the rules. He also told us to develop expertise in other important issues of interest, whether it is water, the environment or the social sphere. Rijiju said Prime Minister Modi has also asked all MPs to visit the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya (Prime Minister's Museum) in the national capital with their family members.

"The Prime Minister has also made a request. Every MP, along with his family, should visit Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya. In Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, the journey from Pt Jawaharlal Nehru to Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been shown beautifully.
