Addressing the gathering during the state level function on the occasion of 626th Prakash Utsav of Bhagat Kabir here, the Chief Minister said that 15th century mystic poet and saint Bhagat Kabir had shown a way of life to the people, adding that this 'Dham' Will act as. An important point for research on his life.
The life and philosophy of the great mystic poet has always inspired people to live the right life, he said, adding that people should follow the footsteps of Bhagat Kabir to create a progressive, prosperous and harmonious society.
Mann said that the need of the hour is to maintain unity, communal brotherhood and peace in every way by following the ideals of Bhagat Kabir.
Mann said the government is making concerted efforts to revamp the health and education systems in the state.
He said that till now it was a compulsion of the common man to send his child to a government school, but it would be his wish to do so within six months as the education system is being reformed.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that Schools of Eminence have been established across the state to provide quality education to the students.
