Panipat (Haryana) [India]: A massive fire broke out at a blanket factory in Haryana's Panipat district, an official said on Wednesday.

As soon as the information was received, fire brigade vehicles were sent to the spot.

Visuals show a huge cloud of black smoke billowing from the site.

The official said that meanwhile the operation to extinguish the fire is going on.

It said that no casualties or injuries have been reported so far.

Earlier today, a massive fire broke out at a chemical factory in Dombivali in Maharashtra's Thane district.

Later the fire department officials brought the fire under control.
