JD MLA HD Revanna, whose two sons have been arrested in various sexual harassment cases, said, "Sooraj will soon be cleared."
Speaking to reporters in Mysore on Tuesday, HD Revanna, who is the son of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, said, “I will not visit Prajwal Revanna in jail. If I go to meet him, people will say that I have told him something. In this background, I will not go.”
“Now there is only God for us. Who else is there? On Monday, my wife went to jail to meet Prajwal. I don't know what the mother and son talked about. I didn’t even ask,” HD Revanna said.
Talking about Sooraj Revanna, he said, “I am confident that he will soon come clean. I will not talk about any other matter because everything is before the court. Let everything be over, I will explain everything.”
HD Revanna said, “Who are we when difficulties fall upon the most powerful? I will not back down under any circumstances. I have done politics for 30 years. I have come across many such situations.”
Prajwal Revanna is accused of repeatedly raping, kidnapping and threatening, videotaping sexual acts and is the main accused in the sensational sex video case that shook the country.
His brother Suraj Revanna is accused of pressurizing JD workers to have unnatural sex.
