Mathura (UP), Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani on Tuesday presented the first invitation for the wedding of his son Anant Ambani at Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan.
Anant Ambani and industrialist Viren Merchant's daughter Radhika Merchant are going to get married on July 12.
Mukesh Ambani's representatives presented this invitation card to temple priests Acharya Gopi Goswami and Srinath Goswami and blessed the couple.
Goswami told that he offered Anant Ambani's wedding invitation sent by Mukesh Ambani at the feet of Thakurji amidst chanting of mantras.
He told that the industrialist has sent the invitation for his son's wedding to Tatiya Sthan Ashram of Swami Haridasiya sect located in Vrindavan.
He said he would travel to Mumbai with his younger brother Srinath Goswami to attend the wedding on Thakurji's behalf and present "prasad and angavastra" to the Ambani family as Thakurji's blessings.
The pre-wedding festivities began on March 1 in Jamnagar, 300 km from Ahmedabad, known for the world's largest refinery, owned by Reliance Industries.
