Kalaburagi (Karnataka), Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah of selling government-owned factories established decades ago to industrialists Ambani and Adani.

He also challenged Modi to take back the money looted from him instead of blaming the Gandhi family, even though none of its members has been Prime Minister or any minister since 1989. He said, “Modi says that the Gandhi family looted the country. You are the Prime Minister, recover the looted money.”

“Modi says he has done great things.what you have done? You are selling the big factories that were set up by former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru,” Kharg said while addressing a public meeting at Afzalpur in his home district Kalaburagi.

Congress has fielded Kharge's son-in-law Radhakrishna Doddamani from Kalaburagi, where voting will be held on May 7.

He alleged, "What is happening in this country is that there are two sellers and two buyers." The sellers are Modi and Shah and the buyers are Ambani and Adani.

Kharge alleged that Modi and Shah "are not living for the people of the country but for Ambani and Adani."

Kharge told the crowd, “They (Modi and Shah) want power for themselves (Ambani and Adani), not for you.,

Kharge criticized the Prime Minister's statement in which he had said that the Congress planned to give away people's hard-earned money and valuables to 'infiltrators' and 'people with extra children', and if it comes to power, So she will snatch the 'mothers' gold'. And sisters'. 'I will steal. ,

“Modi says that if Congress comes to power, they will snatch your mangalsutra. What kind of PM is he? shame on them. We ruled this country for 55 years. From whom did we snatch it and give it to others?” The Congress chief said.

The Congress President attacked Modi for calling the Congress manifesto an imprint of the pre-independence Muslim League.

He tried to find out if it was the Muslim League when Congress promised 30 lakh jobs to youth, minimum support price to farmers, scholarships to benefit SC/ST youth and filling the backlog.

He said, “I have told the Prime Minister that wherever he campaigns, I will come to explain to him about our manifesto. I have also written a letter to him." I don't know whether he received it or not.,

He said, “A person with a balanced mind would not say such things. I don't know what has happened to him (Modi).''
