Mumbai: The Special Investigation Team of Mumbai Police on Thursday asked BJP MLA Nitish Rane to share any information regarding the death of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's former manager Disha Salian, an official said.
She was found dead on June 8, 2020, in the premises of the building where she lived in Malad in the northern part of the metropolis.
The official said that the SIT's letter was sent to Rane by senior inspector of Malwani police station, Chimaji Adhav, who is investigating the case.
Rane has been asked to appear before the investigating officer (IO) to share information, if any, regarding Salian's death, he said.
"Rane can come as per his own time and to avoid any inconvenience, he has been asked to call Adhav before going to Malvani police station," the officer said quoting the letter.
According to police, Salian (28) allegedly committed suicide by jumping from a high-rise building in Malad.
The SIT was formed in December last year.
A few days after Salian's death, on June 14, Rajput (34) allegedly hanged himself at his Bandra home.
