Mumbai: Mumbai City FC registered a 2-0 win over FC Goa in their return leg semi-final of the Indian Super League here on Monday, setting up a bumper clash with Mohun Bagan SG.

The final to be held in Kolkata on Saturday will be a rematch of the 2020-2 title match.

Mohun Bagan SG made it to the final by getting the better of Odisha FC in both the legs.

After a goalless first half, Jorge-Pereira Diaz broke the deadlock and put Mumbai City FC ahead with his strike in the 69th minute.

Playing at the Mumbai Football Arena, the home team doubled its lead through El Changte's goal in the 83rd minute.

While the score was 0-0 at half time, Mumbai team proved to be very good in the second half.

Jorge-Pereira Diaz showed quick reflexes to pounce on a loose ball and break the deadlock just after the hour mark, while Chhangte beat the Goa defense with an excellent counter to score his third goal in two legs of the semi-final.

In the first leg of the semi-finals, Mumbai City FC gave FC Goa a late lead to win 3–2.
