Terrorists ambushed an army truck in the remote Machedi area of ​​Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, killing five people, including a junior officer (JCO), and injuring five others.

The attack occurred when terrorists attacked the army vehicle with grenades and firing during a routine patrol on the Machedi-Kindli-Malhar highway near Badnota village in Lohai Malhar, approximately 150 kilometers from Kathua town, around 3:30 pm, they said.
