He said this while delivering the keynote address at the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH) board meeting in Geneva, Switzerland.

The Minister appreciated PMNCH for its commitment towards the welfare of women, children and adolescents.

He also "reiterated the government's assurance to pursue this issue and promote meaningful youth engagement".

At the event, Nadda also underlined the importance of "accelerating progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and continuing to focus on preparation for the post-2030 agenda".

The Minister stressed the power of partnerships and multiple stakeholders working together to achieve common goals.

In May, at WHO's 77th World Health Assembly (WHA), Union Health Secretary Apoorva Chandra also reiterated India's commitment to take proactive action for the health and well-being of women, children and adolescents.

PMNCH is the world's largest coalition committed to protecting and promoting the health, well-being and rights of women, children and adolescents. It is governed by a board and administered by a secretariat run by the World Health Organization (WHO).
