The NDA has given tickets to sitting MPs in four Lok Sabha constituencies, while only one seat on the Khagaria seat has been given to a first-time candidate. On the other hand, the Grand Alliance has given tickets to such candidates who are contesting the Lok Sabha elections for the first time.

JDU's Dinesh Chandra Yadav is contesting elections in Madhepura, who has influence on the Yada caste in Madhepura. He is the current MP and defeated RJD's Sharad Yadav in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. RJD has given ticket to Kumar Chandradeep, who is a principal in a school and is contesting the Lok Sabha elections for the first time.

BJP's current MP Pradeep Kumar Singh is in the fray in Araria. He will contest against RJD's Shahnawaz Alam who is the MLA from Jokihat constituency and is contesting the Lok Sabha elections for the first time. Rampreet Mandal is contesting as an NDA candidate on JDU ticket in Jhanjharpur. He is the sitting MP from this seat and is pitted against Suman Kumar Mahaseth of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), who is contesting the Lok Sabha elections for the first time.Former MLC Mahaseth had also contested the assembly elections, but lost.

Supaul is another seat where the NDA has given ticket to sitting JD-U MP Dileshwar Kamait, who is contesting against Grand Alliance candidate Chandrahas Chaupal, who is an MLA in the Bihar Assembly and is contesting the Lok Sabha elections for the first time.

Khagaria is the only seat where both the NDA and the Grand Alliance have given tickets to candidates for the first time. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Mehboob Al Qaiser won the seat on LJP ticket. Later he joined Pashupati Kuma Paras faction. Though he resigned from Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) and met Chirag Paswan, he was not given the ticket. Now he has joined RJD.

After seat distribution in NDA, Khagaria seat went to LJP (Ram Vilas) and the party has given ticket to Rajesh Verma. He was the district president of LJP (Ram Vilas) of Bhagalpur. Verma, 31, is contesting against CPM candidate Sanjay Kumar, who is contesting the Lok Sabha elections for the first time.“Our leader Tejashwi Yadav is a youth and he has a vision to promote a new generation of politicians in Bihar. Therefore, they have given tickets to male candidates who are contesting the Lok Sabha elections for the first time. In the first phase, Archana Ravidas contested as a Lok Sabha candidate from Jamui for the first time. Shravan Kushwaha also contested elections from Nawada for the first time. Bim Bharti also contested the Lok Sabha elections from Purnia for the first time, RJD spokesperson Chittaranjan Gagan said that Rohini Acharya is also contesting the Lok Sabha elections for the first time.

“Even our alliance partners are following this in selecting candidates. If we analyze the average age of candidates, it is not more than 40 in this Lok Sabha election,” Gagan said.“The grand alliance is not getting candidates, so they are making anyone their candidate.” He doesn't even have the face of the Prime Minister. This is an election to choose the Prime Minister. We have a universal leader who is respected all over the world. Under his (PM Modi) leadership, India has achieved global stature,” said BJP spokesperson Arvind Kumar Singh.
