New Delhi, Election Commission has declared the results of 542 seats out of 543 Lok Sabha constituencies, in which BJP has won 240 seats and Congress has won 99 seats.

The results of Beed constituency in Maharashtra – where NCP (Sharad Pawar) candidate Bajrang Manohar Sonawane is leading over BJP's Pankaja Munde – is still awaited.

There are 543 members in the Lok Sabha. However, votes for 542 seats were counted after BJP candidate Mukesh Dalal from Surat was elected unopposed.
