New Delhi, A film inspired by the life of late Lance Naik Nazir Wani, a terrorist-turned-soldier who sacrificed his life while fighting a group of terrorists in Kashmir, is under development at production house Baweja Studios.

The action drama, whose title symbolizes brotherhood in the army, will showcase Wani's journey from a dreaded terrorist in Kashmir to a distinguished Indian soldier who sacrificed his life in the line of duty in 2018. He is the first Kashmiri to be awarded Ashoka. Chakra, India's highest peacetime gallantry award.

Producer Harman Baweja said it is an honor for the banner to bring Vani's inspiring journey to the silver screen.
