New Delhi, To celebrate the 75th year of the Supreme Court, a 'Moot Court' competition for law clerks of the Supreme Court was organized.

This event was organized on Saturday and Sunday.

"The objective of this initiative was to enhance the advocacy skills of law clerks and LA researchers working in the registry and chambers of the apex court judges," the release said.

It states that the controversial problem deals with a hypothetical scenario relating to issues related to the law of contracts and constitutional law.

Supreme Court judge Justice PS Narasimha and senior lawyer Rebecca Joh presided over the final round, the release said.

The semi-finals were decided on Saturday by two panels of senior lawyers including Additional Solicitor General Aishwarya Bhati.

It said the winners were Ankita Gupta, Sayan Bhattacharya and Varun Dhond.
