Mumbai, Musical thriller series "Chamak" will return with its second part on August 16 on streaming service SonyLIV.

The show, which hails from producer-director Rohit Jugraj Chauhan, arrived on the streamer's platform with its first part in December 2023.

The second part, titled "Chamak: The Conclusion", will see Paramvir Singh Cheema's Kaala embark on a powerful quest of vengeance after becoming aware of the truth behind his father's demise, SonyLIV said in a press release.

The plot reads, "Determined to reclaim his late father's legacy, Kaala faces rising tensions and intense conflict, risking more than ever before."

The first season of the show featured Kaala as a young aspiring rapper who returns to Punjab from Canada and uncovers the death of famous singer Tara Singh, who was shot dead amid a packed performance. .

"Chamak" also stars Manoj Pahwa, Mohit Malik, Esha Talwar, Mukesh Chhabra, Prince Kanwaljeet Singh, Suvinder (Vicky) Pal and Akasa Singh. Gippy Garewal makes a special appearance in the series.
