Tel Aviv [Israel], Rapid innovation in sports technology has been significant around the world. Sports have long been a major source of entertainment and its market is expanding rapidly.

Sports technology is developing rapidly and revolutionizing the sports industry to meet the needs of both athletes and spectators. Technological advances are having an impact on how sports teams interact with fans, how athletes practice, and how sports facilities are managed.

Technological advances and changes in consumer behavior are driving a dramatic transition in fan engagement in the rapidly evolving sports industry. The way people watch sports is changing due to the influence of younger generations, especially Generation Z, who prefer social media and digital platforms that allow for greater interaction and community.

Fans now have a variety of individualized and engaging ways to interact with their favorite sports and teams thanks to the growth of immersive sports, made possible by streaming services and virtual reality.

Even with these changes in digital media, primetime viewership is still dominated by live sports, and major events like the Super Bowl draw huge crowds. The sports industry is a vital component of the global media ecosystem and presents new avenues for fan contact and engagement as it develops.

To better understand the significant growth in sports technology, ANI spoke to Stadicom.

The Stadicom application, based on innovative 5G private cellular infrastructure technology, changes the experience of participating in large-scale events and turns every stadium into a smart stadium.

Now, Israeli company Stadicom is partnering for the first time with 'HaMoshava Stadium' (Shlomo Bituach Stadium) in Petah Tikva, near Tel Aviv, to boost the audience experience at sports competitions and spectacles. For the first time, viewers can enjoy high-quality video services such as replays, new camera angles and more.

The company said that more stadiums in Israel and abroad are expected to be included in the company's pilot program in the future.
