Bhopal, son of Union Agriculture Minister and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has said that after the landslide victory in the Lok Sabha elections, "the entire Delhi bows down" to his father.

Chouhan won the recently held Lok Sabha elections from the Vidisha seat in the state.

State Congress chief Jitu Patwari criticized this statement and said it means Delhi is scared and there is fear of dissent within the party.

In his address, Singh told the people at the Budhni assembly headquarters that they had done a wonderful job in sending a message.

"I have just returned after being in Delhi. Earlier also, our leader (Chouhan) was popular as prime minister. But I don't know why it seems that he became more popular when he was not the prime minister," he said.

"Now, when our leader has departed after a great victory, all of Delhi also bows before him today. All of Delhi also knows him, recognizes him, respects him. Not just Delhi, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, if we count the top leaders. then our leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan figures in the list," he said.

Kartikeya Singh, an alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania (USA), also thanked the people of Budhni constituency who supported his father in the elections.

"It is said that there is a woman behind every successful man... But I will say that there are people in your area behind the success of a leader along with a woman," he said.

Taking a swipe at Kartikeya Singh for his statement, Congress's Patwari said in a post on scared. carefully."

"There is fear of the voice of dissent within the party, of the rebellion of the great leaders, of the management of the coalition, of the decrease in support for the government and the fear of the chair shaking," he stated.

After winning the Vidisha Lok Sabha seat by a margin of over 8.20 lakh votes, Shivraj Singh Chouhan was appointed Agriculture Minister in the Narendra Modi 3.0 cabinet.

After winning the Lok Sabha elections from Vidisha seat, Chouhan resigned as MLA from Budhni assembly seat.

Bypoll for Budhni is likely to be declared soon and Kartikeya Singh, son of Shivraj Singh Chouhan, is seen as the natural choice for the BJP.
