Ranchi: The three-day annual meeting of RSS 'Prant Pracharaks' to deliberate on organizational expansion, upcoming centenary year celebrations and other issues began here on Friday.

Top leaders including Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, national executive members and all province pracharaks are participating in the event, an organization official said.

RSS's Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar said that currently, 73,000 shakhas are operational across the country, with efforts underway to set up at least one shakha in each 'mandal' (cluster of 10-15 villages) across the country. . A press conference on 10 July.

During the meeting, the upcoming centenary year (2025-26) celebrations of RSS will also be discussed. The official said that the organization will complete 100 years on Vijayadashami in 2025.

The meeting will also discuss the implementation of various organizational plans for the coming year as well as the travel plans of Bhagwat and other All India officials for the year 2024-25.

Prant Pracharaks, who oversee the RSS's 46 organizational provinces, are full-time RSS workers participating in the discussion. The meeting is scheduled to end on the evening of July 14.
