The actor shared that he based his character in the show on Ranveer Singh's character from the 2022 film 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' as this was the brief given to him by the production.
The show also stars Sana Shaikh, Ragini Shah, Siddharth Randheria, Apara Mehta and Vandana Vithalani.
Raj revealed: "For my character, I took inspiration from Ranveer Singh's character in 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar'. When I first got the information from the director, he told me that my character is like Ranveer Singh of Dwarka, who is a Bindaas is a cheerful guy who helps everyone and the girls admire him. Even during the shooting, we kept adding fun elements to my character.
'United States of Gujarat' leads through the heartfelt journey of K (played by Sana Shaikh) to discover her roots and reunite with her mother Yamuna (played by Ami Trivedi) and Ba (played by Ragini Shah) . Raj Anadkat's character, Keshav, adds to the mix as he forms a certain bond with K, promising guaranteed entertainment for the audience.
'United States of Gujarat' will premiere on 152nd July on Colors Gujarati.
